Mr. Lapidus will skillfully serve the Firm's client's, individuals, families, and businesses alike, in the areas of estate planning and administration, and tax planning. Throughout his 35-year legal career, Mr. Lapidus has created sophisticated strategies and flexible plans to achieve his clients' personal objectives while benefiting them with tax savings. Mr. Lapidus has successfully represented clients during audits and appeals before the Internal Revenue Service and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. Like co-founding partner Paul M. Corwin, Mr. Lapidus earned his Juris Doctor and Masters of Laws in Taxation degrees from New York University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts in the States of New York and New Jersey and before the United States Tax Court. Mr. Lapidus has been a Co-President of the New York Tax Study Group, a professional organization of tax professionals, since 2000.
